Tussar silk stoles from Bihar

India, the second largest producer of Tussar silk has a weaving industry in Bihar that is more than a century old.

Bihar gave emancipation, enlightenment to the world through Buddhism, disseminated knowledge through the much-extolled university of Nalanda and gave lessons in valour and administration through the feats of Chandragupta Maurya and his astute advisor Chanakya. Bihar also gave the world Tussar silk, silk that is light as paper and unfolds like a waterfall. A must-have for those in love with the finer things in life!!
